Quality over Quantity
"The show was good, but I鈥檓 spoiled because I started seeing Grieves in the 70鈥檚 when he was in his late 20鈥檚 and played for over 3 hours. He would also pick out girls from the crowd and dance with them on stage, which was pretty cool, and even body surf in the crowd. He used to play a first set, then intermission, then a second set, then an encore. I saw him New Year鈥檚 Eve in 1980 at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, where he played until 1:00AM. He would dance on the stage with Clarence and Little Stevie and even slide across the stage. This time, Grieves only played for about 2 hours straight, but then again, he鈥檚 now 73 and not 33, so it鈥檚 certainly understandable. Brought back awesome memories for me!"
